In an otherworldly forest he disturbs a shaman from another realm, which causes an ancient curse to blur the line between our world and the world beyond. After hearing strange sounds on the telephone he calls a repairman, a magician who can thread stories through the figures and nightmares that dwell in the other world. At night the situation spirals out of control, threatening the world with toxic violence while daylight shatters, throwing the world into an eternal night of horrors.
